The test centre installed by FPS is equipped in order to execute short to medium duration micronisation technical tests. This way we allow our Customers to check process validity for their needs.

Special configuration of micronisation equipments could be settled for dedicated testing (nozzles, classifiers, Venturi, cyclone filters....)

Tests under controlled temperature conditions are possible for heat sensitive products or when brittleness increase is desired (cryogenic milling below to -100°C available)

The equipment’s control system may be managed manually or automatically, with a PLC.

Continuous data monitoring for RH, temperature, Oxygen concentration of the room and main micronisation process parameters (Feed Rate, Pressures, temperature and humidity)

Possibility to perform preliminary product characteristic test (Micronisation profile definition, PSD by laser diffraction analyser, Blaine analyser, microscope, angle of repose evaluation, tapped/untapped density..)

The availability of a controlled contamination room ISO8 - if required - allows product and operator protection. Safety devices and interlocks for operations under controlled Nitrogen atmosphere.

As an alternative, it is possible to execute test at our Customers premises.

This is desirable when particular process conditions need to be met.
