The ProMill series has been engineered to encounter the request from production facilities, where product developments have been started and micronisation process is requested.

F.P.S. has developed 3 different spiral jet mill production units: ProMill-8, ProMill-12 and ProMill-16.

ProMill jetmills are available in two configurations, cosmetic/chemical and pharmaceuticals, to better fit different requirements. Bigger units may be manufactured for very high productivity needs, especially in the chemical and mineral fields.

The ProMill series is the result of an unparalleled optimisation study that involved the milling chamber, the nozzles and the classifier, in order to allow for process scalability among all FPS Jetmill range.
This optimization brings FPS Jetmill to lowest process gas consumption, to higher quality in terms of process performances and to easiest cleaning and assembling/disassembling procedures.

All the equipments included in the PilotMill jetmills series e may be easily integrated into FPS isolator systems to allow the process of very high active or sterile products.

ProMill jetmills are also available in ATEX configuration and with full management by PLC control system.
Special configuration i.e. with PTFE or ceramic inserts/lining, in Hastelloy and others are available upon request.

(*) Productivity data depends on many different variables, such as initial and final PSD, crystalline structure, humidity, tendency to cake, static charges, etc. The productivity indicated is an average level applied to pharma powders. For food, cosmetic, chemical, mineral powders the productivity is higher. The best way to define productivity is to perform micronisation trials at our Test Center.
