A pack-off system assure the product protection and reduce operator exposure to dust (OEL) during discharging operations from silos, bins, cyclones, driers, reactors…
The basic system is composed of an inflating head that assures no powder leakage after sealing to the plastic bag where the discharged product is collected.
The adoption of an horizontal laminar flow booth with HEPA filters or a suction booth around the inflating head together with the use of a continuous liner increase operator and environment protection (containment level up to OEB3).
It is possible to install pack-off systems on existing equipment, reducing to a minimum the requested modification, in full compliance with all the final customer standard.
Custom designed configurations and integrated systems with i.e. weighting platform, dosing valve, sampling system, granulation system, continuous liner and/or inflating head are also available.
